Lambeth Vegetable Sculpture Show saved!
Local families had been distraught that they wouldn’t be able to get their fill of amazing vegetable sculptures following the cancellation of the Lambeth Country Show.
However, there will now be a chance for local artisan vegetable sculptors to display their work and for all of us to marvel at their creations this summer.
The Friends of Hillside Gardens has stepped in to host a Vegetable Sculptures Show as part of the Hillside Gardens Summer Fete on Saturday 27th June which runs from 12noon to 5pm
Competition entries will be in three themes:
Open entry – “A vegetable portrait”
Open entry – “Summer 2026”
Junior Competition (ages 5 to 15) “A vegetable animal”
There is no charge for competition entries for the show, but the Friends would welcome donations to the charity.
Expressions of interest for entering a sculpture need to be submitted by Saturday 20th June. This can be done easily by completing our Google form which can also be linked to from the QR code on the flyer below.
