Guided bird and butterfly walk
On Saturday 21st June, the Friends organised a guided bird and butterfly walk around the nature garden and Palace Road Estate. Delivered in partnership with PRERA and led by Peter Newmark, our local expert and resident of nearly 50 years, we had a very enjoyable morning! Swifts, nuthatches, long tailed tits, great tits, wrens and skipper butterflies, whites, speckled woods and meadow browns were all recorded. Look out for details of our next walk coming soon!
